Onnit Coffee – Colombian Amber – Medium Light Roast
Colombian Amber Onnit Coffee is sustainably raised to protect the environment and local labor practices and is both Rainforest Alliance and UTZ Certified. Onnit worked closely with an award-winning master roaster at Caveman Coffee Co. to produce a coffee that is not only sustainably raised on a single farm in Colombia, but is also carefully roasted in small batches and never burned to bring out a delicate yet complex flavor profile.
Each bean is wet processed for quality, meaning it is hand picked only when ripe and immediately washed and dried to prevent mold and toxins from forming. Once dried, the beans are roasted in a dry climate at high altitude in New Mexico to bring out a caramel sweetness and smooth citrus notes of orange, grapefruit and lemongrass. The freshly roasted beans are then shipped and not stored for extended periods of time.
