Workout Summary
When you are looking to gain strength, there are certain training principles you must follow. 1. Focus on compound movements; you want to concentrate on the best bang for your buck exercises like squats, deads, and presses. 2. Low volume; since you are going to be moving some serious weight, the overall sets and reps should be lower than in a conditioning or fat loss routine. 3. Longer rest between sets; Every rep of each set needs to be performed with maximum explosiveness and effort. To due so, you will need to take adequate rest between each set. This is not a circuit! The Raw Strength Barbell Workout takes these core strength training principles and gives them an unconventional twist!
