Description
With the mace in a vertical front ready position, hold onto it as if holding a rope. Keeping the mace at the same height throughout, begin to squat as you transition – one hand below the other. Then reverse the direction as you “climb” the mace back up to standing, the mace never having moved from the space it occupied from the beginning as if floating solidly in place. Watch that you don’t cave in your shoulders. Maintain shoulders down and proud chest. The question with the mace climber squat is: How deep can you go?
