Level Up With Leucine

Leucine is a branched-chain amino acid (BCAA) that scientists believe is the most important amino of all for muscle growth. According to the International Society of Sports Nutrition, the optimal amount of leucine for stimulating muscle gains is between 0.7 and 3 grams per serving of protein. One scoop of whey protein usually has 2—3 grams of leucine, while plant-protein powders are much lower, and that reduces their muscle-building potential.

However, Plant-Based Protein has extra leucine added in to promote muscle growth, while remaining animal-free and vegan-approved.
